Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop held at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning to its production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has gained a significant internet following.
